Can you believe it?  I'm completely proud of my little guy, and we had a great party on Saturday to celebrate the kickoff to year #3.  Tho I suppose things actually got started a day before.  DJ, Bryan, and gpa Bob spent the entire day on Friday helping me build 'The Fort' while gpa Dave kept Trager busy at the park.  You'll see why we call it the fort in a latter post.  All the say, the fort was the BIG present for T this year, a combo present from us and the grandparents.  Should provide us (and the neighborhood) with about 10 years of bliss.

Below are about 30 pics from the party, as well as a few from his actual birthday, which was this past Monday.  And of course, I threw in a few of Kerbi.  Cute as a button.

You can find all the pics on my smugmug.

Well, we got just enough snow and I had a great Saturday off.  Trager and I headed out in the afternoon, and it took all of 10 minutes until I could no longer resist going in to fetch the camera and a big light.  Seriously though, this kid is cute.

And yes, this is the real sky from today.  Gotta love when that happens.

I love love the way it look with the flash. All the blue makes is so cool feeling outside, but Trager's cute cheery face looks warm.

Great shoot.

Well, I was going to post just one pic of Trager, but then got a little carried away.

Lighting tutorial coming to the blog soon. As an appetizer, know that the shots of Trager jumping on the bed are actually taken at night.  Yep.  It was pitch black outside.  More on that later.  For now, some every day life pics of Trager.

I've been waiting for my new blog to go live for a month to be able to do this!  I wanted it to be the first post of the new blog, of course.

It's with overwhelming joy that Julie and I introduce you to our new daughter: Kerbi Sue.

Here's some pics ranging from a few days old getting home with big bro Trager smiling on to a few weeks old.  Many more pics to come, of course.  But this at least gets her introduced.

Kyle says:

Thx Jarney! I wanted to have all the galleries and content populated by now, but of course everything takes like 4 times longer than what you plan for. By Monday, it should all be populated. Make sure and check back!

Kyle says:

btw, Jarney is the 1st comment on the new blog. put it in the annals of history.
